Watercolour Illustration Course(4 sessions)

This is a three-session illustration course spanning three weeks. This course will cover various painting topics such as watercolor landscapes, flower illustrations, and gift creation. While there are fixed themes, each person's artwork is determined by individual choices, meaning each painting is unique. Our teacher will explain the basic composition methods of illustration, guide everyone on transforming life's little highlights into illustrations, and act as a consultant to help you realize all your creative ideas.
By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of watercolor painting, acquire a more profound level of artistic knowledge, and be able to engage in independent creative work and sketching at home.

  • The main focus of this course is to teach the **fundamental thinking process** of illustration, such as how to approach and illustrate things one wants to capture from everyday life using an illustrative mindset. You will also learn how to appreciate a painting and how artists set and guide the viewer's focus.

    We will cover techniques such as composition methods, color palettes, guiding lines, and other theories. Additionally, we will provide in-depth instruction on the use of watercolors.

  • After completing this course, you will have gained an understanding of some art theories and illustration thought processes.

    You will also be able to create independently and engage in sketching. I often receive artworks from students after the class, depicting various subjects such as sketches and drawings of desserts and flowers they have personally experienced.

  • While it's not mandatory, we recommend attending the classes continuously. There is some connection between these courses, but the topics are independent of each other.

    If, for some reason, you cannot attend a particular session, you can reschedule that session for free and join the same course in the next available cycle. In theory, this course takes place once a month, but for specific class times, please contact your teacher for details. However, please be aware that each student is entitled to reschedule only once.

  • In terms of art materials, there is no need to pay as we provide all the necessary materials.

    The duration of the class varies depending on the complexity of the image each person chooses. The standard duration for a single session is four and a half hours. If your painting exceeds this time, there will be an additional charge of £10 with no limit time.
