About the 3.5-Hour Landscape Workshop
Designed for complete beginners, this step-by-step workshop covers all the fundamental watercolor mechanics and practical knowledge you need. We’ll take the anxiety out of the medium so you can create with total confidence—giving you a strong foundation to follow online tutorials and keep practicing on your own at home.
To tailor your learning experience, you’ll choose your favorite from three curated landscape designs to paint step-by-step during the session.
Water Dynamics & Magic: Decode the science of paper moisture. Learn why watermarks and unexpected blooms happen, so you can guide watercolor’s natural magic instead of fighting it.
Large-Scale Wet-on-Wet: Paint on pre-stretched professional paper provided for you. Master heavy water washes without buckling, blending clean, translucent colors across large skies and landscapes.
Edge & Contrast Management: Master soft-blended edges, crisp details, and smooth transitions to give your painting depth.
Timing & Moisture Control: Read your paper's wetness in real time to apply wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques with intentional timing—achieving predictable results through understanding, not luck.
By the end of this session, you will leave with a clear understanding of watercolor physics and a fully finished landscape masterpiece you created yourself.
